The Direzione Regionale Cultura coordinates a group of activities that aim to produce culture, that develop in three areas of intervention:
- In the cultural heritage area through cataloguing campaigns, and with the support of the conservation of the archaeological and historical-architectonic patrimony;
- In cultural services area, through actions of coordination, guidance and programming of the activities of museums, libraries, and archives in the Regione del Veneto;
- In the cultural activities area, through the valorisation of cultural-historical institutions in the Veneto and in the performing arts with the coordination of various expressive fields including theatre, music, dance, and film, and particular attention to the opera foundations (Arena, Fenice), the Teatro Stabile del Veneto Carlo Goldoni, and the Mostra Internazionale del Cinema in Venice.
